Upper Fraser Valley RCMP to host career fair

Career fair is in New Westminster on Saturday, Feb. 22

The Upper Fraser Valley RCMP announced on Wednesday they will host a career fair on Saturday, Feb. 22 at the New Westminster Justice Institute of British Columbia campus from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Representatives from law enforcement agencies across B.C. will be on hand to answer questions concerning career opportunities, the hiring process and more.

The RCMP seeks to hire 1,200 RCMP officers across Canada this year with growing law enforcement demand hitting other agencies as well.

Erika Dirsus from the RCMP Proactive Recruiting Unit. “The RCMP gives you the opportunity to become a part of something much larger than yourself – or anythingyou could ever imagine.”
