2 dead in plane crash near Hope

Transportation Safety Board confirmed crash happened on Monday

Two people have died in a plane crash near Hope.

The fatal incident happened Monday (Nov. 15).

B.C. Coroners Service confirmed that the crash was 18 nautical miles northeast of the town. The pilot and passenger on board were in a Cessna R128 when it hit the ground, the Transportation Safety Board said.

The identities of the two people have not been released.
