Medlock and Stewin are the only incumbent council members on the ballot.

For school trustees, there are four candidates for the three Hope positions at the Fraser Cascade School Board of Education, and one for the Fraser Canyon position.

The Hope candidates are Pattie Desjardins, Lori Izawa, Linda Kerr and Heather Stewin. Kerr and Stewin are incumbents. (Stewin is both a councillor and a school trustee.)

There are four candidates vying for those seats; incumbents Wendy Coleman-Lawley and Marilyn Warren, and newcomers Wendy Clark and Andrea Hensen. Election day is Oct. 15 with an early voting opportunity on Oct. 5.
