Businesses along the 300-block of Wallace Street are closed Wednesday and Thursday, as BC Hydro shut down power to the area during ongoing work.
The block houses a number of retail and food service establishments, among them Artisan’s Attic and Fudgery Gift Shoppe, the Blue Moose Coffee House, Heaven N Earth Native Art Gallery, Sharron’s Deli and New 2 Yew thrift store. The businesses will remain closed Wednesday and Thursday.
The Hope Standard has asked what exactly the work entails, we will add this information when we get it from BC Hydro.
