Fire destroys building and cars in Hope neighbourhood

Nobody injured in large blaze, says Hope Fire Department

Hope firefighters responded to a large fire Sunday afternoon in the Silver Creek area involving a building and vehicles.

The fire department says that no injuries have been reported and the incident remains under investigation. Many residents in the area reported hearing explosions during the fire. Flames and smoke could be seen from many vantage points around Hope, and ash dropped on neighbouring homes.

The department posted about the fire on their Facebook page on Sunday night.
