Fraser Cascade calls a snow day

No school for kids in school district that covers Hope, Boston Bar, Agassiz, Harrison

All schools in the Fraser Cascade are closed Monday, Jan. 13 due to winter weather causing poor driving conditions.

School District 78 made the announcement early Monday morning. A budget committee set for Monday has also been cancelled.

Chilliwack schools and all UFV campuses are also closed for the day.

Highway 1 was closed on Sunday evening for a multi-vehicle crash that involved about 30 vehicles, and re-opened overnight.
