Highway 5A to close north of Princeton for avalanche control at noon

The road is expected to be reopened at 2 p.m.

Highway 5A north of Princeton will be closed for two hours between noon and 2 p.m. today. (DriveBC)

From noon until 2 p.m. Highway 5A will be closed south of Allison Lake for avalanche control.

The highway will be closed in both directions between Round Lake Road and Beaver Lake.

An update on whether the road is reopened or the closure is extended is expected on DriveBC at 2 p.m.
