Hope area sees three new COVID cases in slight uptick

Hope’s new COVID-19 cases continue to remain in the single digits, according to the most recent data from the B.C. Centre for Disease Control.

The Hope local health area saw a slight uptick in COVID cases with three new cases from Feb. 7 to 13. This increase comes off of a week of no new cases during the first week of Feburary.

The average for 2021 so far is about five new COVID cases per week.

There have been no new school exposure events in SD78 for about a month, and the last time a public exposure was recorded was in early November 2020.
