Hope firefighters respond to vacant house fire in Silver Creek

Fire was contained to house and small outbuilding

Hope firefighters responded to call in Silver Creek last night and found a vacant house consumed by fire.

The single-family home, which is a rental property, was empty at the time, and the Fire Department says “the fire was contained to the building of origin and a small shed outbuilding. A neighbouring mobile home suffered heat damage.”

More to come.
