The restrictions on travel along Highway 7 between Mission and Hope have officially been lifted.
In a Monday (Dec. 6) evening news release, the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure announced travellers can use Highway 7 for daily activities once more, including commuting to work, driving students to school or attending appointments.
The ministry advises motorists to continue to expect congestion with the restrictions being lifted.
“Drivers are reminded to use caution, obey signs, speed limits and the direction of any traffic-control personnel,” the ministry said.
Highway 3 between Hope and Princeton remains under an essential travel order.
