Kent Institution was on lock down Tuesday (May 7), as staff conducted what a Correctional Service of Canada press release described as an “exceptional search.”
The maximum security prison in Agassiz was put on lock down around noon Tuesday, as a search was ordered to ensure the safety and security of the institution.
The release said that normal operations will resume “as soon as it is considered safe to do so.”
