If you’ve ever wanted to become a birder, the Hope Mountain Centre (HMC) for Outdoor Learning has an opportunity for you.

Birding in Hope is being offered May 14, with people invited to join HMC for a light walk around the best local birding areas.

“The Hope Airpark and Thacker Marsh offer diverse habitats and variety of birds to see in the spring,” said an HMC news release. “This program is a great opportunity to experience the growing hobby of bird watching, meet fellow birders, and build your identification skills.”

The event is open to all levels of birders, from beginners to experts.
