* The 24-year-old woman reported missing in a press release on May 22 was found on the weekend and is safe and sound.
Local Mounties issued yet another missing person press release on May 22, this time for Rebecca Lynne Sackley of Chilliwack.
The 24-year-old Sackley was last seen on April 27 in the 46000-block of Yale Road.
Sackley is described as a Caucasian female; height 180 centimetres (5’11”); weight 59 kilograms (130 lbs); with blonde hair and green eyes.
As RCMP investigators continue to search for Ms. Sackley they ask the public to remain watchful for her.
“Police and family are concerned for Rebecca’s well-being,” said Cpl. Mike Rail of the Chilliwack RCMP.
Sackley’s name was in the news a month before she was last seen briefly mentioned in a story as she was charged along with three others for an alleged Oct. 18, 2018 theft from Home Depot.
Sackley was initially charged with theft under $5,000 along with Tracey Clements, and prolific offenders Kristopher Benson and Ryan Todd Malow.
Sackley last appeared in court on that file on March 25 when the charges against here were dropped. Two weeks after that, a warrant was issued for Malow, and Benson and Clements are scheduled to go to trial Jan. 8, 9 and 10, 2020, according to Court Services Online.
A warrant was issued for Malow and as of May 27 he is still wanted by police.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Rebecca Lynne Sackley is urged to contact the Chilliwack RCMP at 604-792-4611 or, to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
