A pedestrian was taken to hospital in critical condition after being struck by a dump truck Monday morning, Nov. 4, which is causing delays in Aldergrove.
At approximately 6:20 a.m., Langley RCMP responded to a report of a dump truck colliding with a pedestrian at Fraser Highway and 264 Street.
An ambulance with primary care paramedics, advanced care paramedic responder, and a supervisor responded to the scene, B.C. Emergency Health Services told The Star.
"Paramedics provided emergency medical treatment to one patient who was transported to hospital in critical condition," emergency services said.
Fraser Highway will be closed westbound at 264 Street while police investigate, said Cpl. Zynal Sharoom with the Langley RCMP.
"Expect lots of traffic delays. It will be closed for a significant amount of time," he added.
Police are asking drivers to avoid the area.

Anyone travelling in the area at the time of the collision wit dash camera footage that may have captured the incident, are asked to contact the Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200.
Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service (ICARS), along with Commercial Vehicle Safety and Enforcement (CVSE) are both at the scene.
