Pedestrian struck in Deroche

Patient has been transported to Abbotsford Regional Hospital

[CORRECTION: The incident was initially described as a hit and run over emergency scanners. In fact, Mission RCMP said the parties had exchanged information, and one person was transported to hospital with a minor knee injury.]

A pedestrian was struck in Deroche, east of Mission, B.C.

At approximately 2:08 p.m., March 13, a pedestrian was struck at the intersection of Lougheed Highway and Husband Road, just northeast of the small community.

The patient was transported to the Abbotsford Regional Hospital with a minor injury. The Record has reached out to BC Emergency Health Services for more details.
