Environment Canada issued a snowfall warning for the Fraser Valley stating Chilliwack and Abbotsford would expect to see between two and 10 centimetres of wet snow due to a low pressure system brushing the south coast.
In Agassiz and Hope, five to 10 centimetres of wet snow was expected.
Environment Canada also reminded people to take precautions on the slippery roads.
“Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.”
