Hope RCMP is currently looking for the driver and owner of this motorcycle.

Hope RCMP is trying to track down the driver and owner of a motorcycle that fled from police.

A police officer saw the 2013 Honda CRF250 speeding eastbound on Flood-Hope Road towards Silver Creek on June 8 at about 9 p.m. When he tried to pull the motorcycle over, the driver fled the scene.

The motorcycle was later found in front of a house in the 63000 block of Old Yale Rd. Police arrested a 31-year-old female passenger and are now looking for the male driver.

Police said the motorcycle was likely stolen as the vehicle identification number has been removed. It was also originally painted red and white, but the white appears to have been spray-painted grey.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Hope RCMP at 604-869-7750.
