Anonymous tips to Upper Fraser Valley Crime Stoppers had led to six arrests so far this year and the recovery of $116,775 worth of property, cash and drugs.

The arrests were followed by the laying of six charges by police, based on information from the public.

A recent Crime Stoppers Crime of the Week involved a Chilliwack case, with a man on a bicycle slapping the backside of a teenaged girl near Chilliwack secondary school. The incident happened shortly after noon on Sept. 16 and was captured on video.

A YouTube post by Rob Lezzi showed two young women walking north on the east side of Williams near Chilliwack Secondary School. A man wearing a backwards baseball hat, a blue shirt and riding a red bike cycled up behind them and was seen to slap or grab the buttocks of one of them.
