After a rather tepid freshet, compared to the potential flooding possible due to record-breaking snowpack, Hope is once again on flood watch as the annual spring melt reaches the community.

On Friday (June 26) the district announced it had closed Wardle Street at Allison and 7th avenues, the section that runs along the Fraser River. The Rotary Trails were also closed, after re-opening following closures during the spring freshet.
