Canadian Navigable Waters Act - Peters First Nation

Peters First Nation hereby gives notice that an application has been made to the Minister of Transport, pursuant to the Canadian Navigable Waters Act for approval of the work described herein and its site and plans.

Pursuant to paragraph 7(2) of the said Act,

Peters First Nation has deposited with the Minister of Transport, on the on-line Common Project Search Registry (https://cps.canada.ca/) and under registry number 10827, or, under the NPP File Number 2024-512807 a description of the following work, its site and plans:

Upgrading existing erosion control structures, including

• retaining the existing rip-rap structures

• augmenting bank protection works at the existing flow control structure at the upstream limits of the Peters First Nation community, and

• incorporating new rip-rap spurs to improve the performance of the present structures.

Along the south embankments of the Fraser River Mainstem at Peters Indian Reserve #1 & #2 in front of lot 6-4, Lot 13. Lot 16, Lot 14, Lot 19, Lot 20, Lot 21 License 2412556 - Peters Indian Reserve #2 - North Limits.
