SIELKIE, Adeline
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Adeline Sielkie.
Mother was born in Grahamdale Man. on May 14, 1922 and passed away at Fraser Hope Lodge in the morning of June 22, 2009.
She is survived by daughters; Marilyn(Ken) and Vian (Burt), both of Hope, three grandchildren; Kelvin (Shelley), Brad (Lori) and Kelly (Mike), seven great grandchildren; Taylor, Caitlin, Brett, Brooke, Braeden, Nathan and Hannah. Also surviving her is her sister Marg and brother Lawrence of Manitoba and many nieces and nephews.
Mother spent many years in Red Lake Ont. raising her family. After the passing of her husband, she moved to Winnipeg to spend time with her sister and mother. The last six years she has resided in Hope BC to be close to her two daughters.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Fourie and a special thanks to the nurses and caregivers at Fraser Hope Lodge for their care and compassion for our dear mother.
A private service will be held in Surrey with burial to follow at Valley View Memorial Garden Cemetery, Surrey BC.
