Anita Ethel Stickle (nee Brown)
Anita Ethel Stickle of Hope, BC passed away peacefully into the arms of the Lord on October 31, 2017. She was born on August 3, 1924 in Regina Saskatchewan to George and Dorothy Brown.
Although her passing brings great sadness to those who knew and loved her, we rejoice for her reunion with her husband, Earl, who predeceased her on November 28, 1997, her youngest son George who passed suddenly on September 8th of this year and the many family and friends who've gone before her.
Left behind to mourn her loss are her 3 remaining children: Garry (Carol) Stickle of Langley, BC and their family, Brent, Blake and Lorelei; David (Judy) Stickle of Grand Forks, BC and their family, Marcy, Ann, Melinda and Melissa; Susan (Jack) Bouwmeester of Williams Lake, BC and their family, Adrianna and Bobbi-Joe; and George's two sons Dustin and Trevor, along with many great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and those that she adopted into her family along the way.
She touched the hearts of everyone she met and will be remembered for her kindness, patience, love, faithfulness and who could forget Grandma's Cookie Jar, her Friday night pot roasts, her gorilla hugs and cribbage (she was a card shark!). She may be gone, but she remains in our hearts and memories forever.
A Celebration of Life will be held on November 11, 2017 at 1:00 pm at the Hope Pentecostal Assembly, 843 5th Ave, Hope BC followed by a tea at the Hope Curling Club, 1055 6th Ave, Hope BC.

The family wishes to thank the staff at the Fraser Hope Lodge for their care and support, and Pastor Patrick from the Hope Pentecostal Assembly for coming at a moments notice to pray for her and the family as her faith was so important to her.
