SOARES, Caesar Manuel
June 7th 1950 - June 15th 2013
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Caesar Soares. Caesar is predeceased by his father Manuel and his mother Maria. Caesar is survived by his son Darryl (Lina), his daughter LeAnne (Owen), brothers Carl (Cathy) & Danny (Bev) as well as many nephews and nieces. Caesar was born in Portugal and came to Canada with his family as a young boy arriving first in Yale, BC and eventually settling in Hope, BC.
Caesar was an avid athlete and outdoorsman who devoted much of his time to the town and was a mentor to many youth coaching various sporting teams. Caesar lived his life to its very fullest, always finding time to "play" and his contagious laugh will be heard for eternity. The Soares family would like to thank the UFV RCMP, Hope SAR, the Hope Legion, Martin Brothers funeral chapels and everyone for their outpouring of love and support.
Memorial service for Caesar will be held on Saturday June 22nd 2013 at 11:00 at the Hope Legion hall with burial to follow.
