1927 - 2010
After a lengthy battle with chronic pain Charlie died peacefully at Fraser Canyon Hospital on February 19th.
Predeceased by son Scott Haines, grandson Dacre Haines and brother James Cooke. Survived by wife Theresa, sons Grant (Colleen), Reid (Brenda), daughter Anna-Lise (Bill), brother Norman Dixon, eight grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He will be remembered by family and friends as a hard-working, proud man who dedicated his life to providing for his family. If a man's life is measured by how well-loved and respected he was then Charlie left this life contented and has gone to a place where there is only love, happiness and light. A celebration of life will be held at the Eagles Hall, Fort Street, Hope BC on March 6, 2010 at 2:00 pm.
