David Webster passed away peacefully on September 3, 2020 at the age of 81 years.
Born in Vancouver and relocating to Hope at the age of 11, Dave spent 57 years of his life in Hope before retiring in Agassiz. Dave started his career in ironworking, contributing to many structures in Vancouver and all over BC. He later went on to start his own company which he ran for many years.
Dave is survived by his wife of 63 years, Sharron, son Brian (Laura) and daughter Michelle (Michael), his grandchildren Paige, Koreann, Megan and Greg and his four great-grandchildren.
Dave loved to travel all over Canada, especially in Northern BC. He had a passion for collecting Indigenous art and had a true appreciation for the stories that came along with each piece. David will be remembered for his stern "Webster face", his love of shiny fast cars and for being a bit of a bruiser in his early years.
A celebration of David's life will be held at a later date.
