Elizabeth Emma HANNAH

July 5, 2007

Elizabeth Emma Hannah died peacefully at Lakeshore Lodge in Toronto. She was with her daughter and the caregivers she befriended in her last two years at the Lodge. She had the kind thoughts of her family and friends in BC. Her death was due to Parkinson’s.

Elizabeth spent most of her life in Hope, BC with her husband, Ron Hannah. Ron died of a heart attack in 1976. She is survived by her daughter, Jo-Ann Hannah (Toronto), her sisters, Vi Third (Coquitlam), and Rene Robins (Courtney), and her brother and his wife, Art and Edy Schleger (Mission Viejo, California) and her many nieces and nephews.

Elizabeth enjoyed golf and bridge and pretty well traveled around the world. She valued her friendships and always kept in touch with family and friends. We appreciated her wry sense of humour and will remember her with love and respect.

Messages may be sent to Elizabeth’s family care of Jo-Ann Hannah, 165 Fern Avenue, Toronto, M6R 1K2 or hannahj9@hotmail.com.
