ERICKSON, Faye Winnifred
On December 22, 2016 at the age of 94, Faye Winnifred Erickson passed away peacefully at the Fraser Hope Lodge in Hope, BC. She is survived by her children Clifford (Barb) Erickson of Sechelt, BC, Barbara (Walter) Prytula of Wabamun Alberta and Obert “Obie” (Arla) Erickson of Hope, BC. She will be fondly remembered by her many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband Elmer (1976) and son Gary (1967). She moved to Hope in 1991 to be near her youngest son/wife and being involved with her grandsons playing sports. She was involved for years helping other children bowl and cheering on her grandsons at the ball field, golf course and hockey arena. In 2001 she was named to the local Sport and Recreation Hall of Fame for her dedication in the community and helping secure the BC Senior Games in Hope/Agassiz. Thank you to the staff at the Fraser Hope Lodge and hospital for all the tender care that they have given her over the years. The family requests any donations can be made to Fraser Hope Lodge. She will be laid to rest with her late husband at a private service in Flin Flon, Manitoba.
