Mrs. Frances Elizabeth Pease passed away on November 26, 2010 in Abbotsford, BC at the age of 72 years. She was predeceased by her son, Randy Kirchmayer; late husband, Phil Kirchmayer; and brothers, Don, George and Len Green.Left to mourn her passing is her husband of 7 years, David of Hope, BC; daughter, Debby (Chris Langmead) Wristen of Chilliwack, BC; sons, Ric (Gisela) Kirchmayer of Mission, BC, Terry (Susan) Kirchmayer of Deroche, BC and Ted Kirchmayer of Chilliwack, BC; step daughters, Christine (Mike) Simpson of Princeton, BC and Debra White of Salmon Arm, BC; step son, Roy Mazzaro of Quesnel, BC; brothers, Vic (Irene) Green of Sulphurous Lake, BC, Al (Mary) Green of Edmonton, AB and Roy (Shirley) Green of Prince George, BC; sisters, Doris (Clem) Gauthier of Vernon, BC, Mary Warren of Prince George, BC and Donna (Lawrence) Tritt of Vanderhoof, BC; grandchildren, Ben, Bekki, Buffi, Brad, Silas, Chelse, Jared, Nicole and Curtis; and great grandchildren, Mathew, Austin and Brody.

Frances Elizabeth was one of 10 children born in Vancouver, BC near Central Park. She moved with the rest of the Green family to various places in the Surrey/Langley area. Fran, as she was known, enjoyed her children and grandchildren, as well as volunteering for Meals on Wheels when she was a Lion in the Pender Harbour Lions Club. While married to David she acquired her license to own firearms, learned to hunt and bagged her own venison. She also learned to drive a pickup and trailer. Fran caught and landed her biggest salmon while fishing the Douglas Channel at Kitamat. She also enjoyed travelling on the road out to Nova Scotia, Whitehorse and lastly, Bella Coola. A Traditional Service will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at the Mountainside Funeral Home Chapel, 1270 Ryder Street, Hope, BC with Pastor Susan Kirchmayer officiating. The Burial will follow the Service at the Mountainview Cemetery on Kawkawa Lake Road, Hope, BC with a Reception to take place at the Canyon Golden Age Hall, 560 Douglas Street, Hope, BC. A donation may be made to the charity of your choice in memory of Fran. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of the Abbotsford Cancer Centre.
