Frederick Henry Whims passed away peacefully at the age of 81 years. Frederick was predeceased by his loving wife: Velma Laurine Whims, brother: Harold and his sister Tess.

Survived by his loving son: Cameron Whims, grandchildren: Tyler and Mason, nephew: Robert. Frederick was a logging truck driver until his retirement. His retirement years were spent with his loving wife traveling, relaxing and spending time with his grandchildren. Another passion in his life was attending the horse races. A Memorial Service was held at St. John’s the Divine Church, 31191 Douglas Street, Yale, B.C. on Wednesday, November 9, 2005 @ 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Ken Wotherspoon officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Frederick’s memory to your favorite local charity. Special thanks to Home Support Services for their tender care, Fraser Canyon Hospice Society for all they have done and the doctors and staff at the Fraser Canyon Hospital.
