OIKAWA, George
George passed away on September 6, 2010 in Hope BC. He was predeceased by his father, Keigo Oikawa in 1991 and his mother, Makiye Oikawa in 1994.
George is survived by his wife, Lorraine Oikawa, daughters; Mikiko Wilson (Donny), Teresa (Larry) Spooner, and Buffy Oikawa (Peter), son; David (Irene) Prevost, grandchildren; Bailey Jean Wilson, Tiffany and Larry Spooner and Jessie Prevost, sisters; Mikiko Oikawa, Ritsu Oikawa and Nancy Oikawa, niece; Diana (Rob) Gedge and children Ducati and Aprilia, brother-in-law; Rod Groslin and family, sisters-in-law; Pat (Mike) Scorse and family, Bev (Jay) Hackenbrook andfamily, Nancy (Brian) Burnett and family. George will also be missed by his many friends, including Bob and Echo Johnson, Muriel Young and family, and Bob and Freddie Liley all of Hope BC. A funeral service was held at Grace Baptist Church on Saturday, September 11, 2010.
