PARISIEN, George Raymond (Sitting Eagle)
Mr. George Raymond Parisien passed away in Abbotsford, B.C. on June 21, 2008 at the age of 74 years. He was predeceased by his parents: Leo and Agnus; siblings, Evelyn, Arthur, James and Joseph and his son, Barton.
George is survived by his loving family: wife, Keitha; son, Terry; daughters, Terry, Dorothea, Mona, Simone and April; siblings, Emily, Patricia, Marlene and Noel, and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
George was a proud Metis man who enjoyed listening and dancing to the fiddle. He was also a dedicated bingo dabber who loved to flirt with the ladies.
A visitation and viewing will be held at the family home, 63827 Beech Avenue, Hope B.C. on Thursday, June 26, 2008 starting at 5:00 p.m. A Traditional Service will take place on Friday, June 27, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Mountainside Funeral Chapel, 1270 Ryder Street, Hope, B.C. A Reception will be held back at the family home following the Service.
The family will gratefully accept donations.
