His family has fond memories of numerous family outings but the favourite was camping at Coquihalla Lake when they would sit around the campfire with banjo and accordion singing, pots of corn on the cob at midnight for kids, breakfast with fresh picked huckleberries for pancakes, fishing at the lake and down many creeks. Everyone loved his baked salmon barb'q. Hank also loved to grow a big garden sharing the fresh fruit and vegetables with all the neighbours. He was also very active in the community (eg.
