July 7, 1947 - September 27, 2019
Hugh David Williams, 72, born and raised in Hope, BC, passed away suddenly on September 27, 2019 at the Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster. He is survived by his two children, Eric and Nadine, and best friend Kenny Nishimura.
Those who knew him, would remember him from walking the dogs in the Rotary trails, his legendary Super Bowl parties, bowling, curling and/or his lengthy career at Overwaitea. He had a generous heart, horrible dance moves, and a moustache and perm that never left the 70s. He lived his final years in the Valley Haven retirement home in Chilliwack, BC. Our hearts are broken, but we know he will forever have a great seat to watch his beloved Seahawks.
A memorial service is being planned for a later date. Memorial donations in Hugh's name can be made to the Tillicum Centre in Hope.
