Ida Elizabeth Tidball (nee McPhail) passed away at The Waverly Seniors Village in Chilliwack, B.C. on May 20, 2007.
She was born January 31, 1918 to Eugene & Margaret McPhail in a private home at Vera, Sask. On November 8, 1943 she married Gordon Tidball.
They had 4 children; a daughter, Viola Margaret & 3 sons Donald Gordon, Eldon Verle & Glen Ernest.
Gordon & Ida lived in Trail, B.C. during the winter of 1943/44. They lived in Rockhaven, Sask from 1944 - 1964 when they moved to Agassiz, B.C. They moved to Hope, B.C. in 1974 and lived there until Ida moved to The Waverly Seniors Village in Chilliwack, in July 2006.
She was predeceased by her husband Gordon, son Donald, parents Eugene & Margaret McPhail, siblings - Alex, Viola, Raymond & Murray.
She leaves to mourn her passing, sister Jean Szantai of Calgary, Alberta, daughter Viola & Bill Girvan of Abbotsford, BC, son Eldon & Corrie Tidball, of Hope BC & son Glen Tidball of Kelowna, BC; sister-in-laws - Mary Macdonald, Vernon, BC & Maria Tisdalle of Branson, Missouri, USA & nieces & nephews.
Ida was a warm caring person who loved the Lord very much. She missed Gordon and wanted to be with him again. Now she & Gordon are celebrating together with the Lord.
The funeral service will be held in Hope Christian Assembly, May 25, 2007 at 1:00 P.M.
Internment to follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Hope, B.C.
