BAKER,Isabel Jane
Isabel Jane Baker passed away November 14, 2010 with family and friends at her side. Born on March 9, 1920 she is survived by sons Bill McLaren of Burnaby and George McLaren (Lynne) of Britannia Beach. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Chris, Heather, Dennise, Sharon and Eric, and her four great-grandchildren; Jesse, Chelsey, Maddison and George.
She was predeceased by her husband Sylvan, son Dell, daughter Isabel and Charlene daughter-in-law.
Belle was born in Ashcroft but lived in Lytton most of her life. She has resided in Hope for over 25 years. She was a member of the Anglican church and a volunteer at the soup kitchen. Lunch with the Bunch was always a highlight of her day. She was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion for 58 years, always volunteering and working hard. She will be missed by many.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Legion Hall, 344 Fort St. Hope BC, on November 30 from 2 - 4 pm.
