John Edward (Jack) Lawrence passed away peacefully at his home on December 14, 2019. He was born on March 1, 1919 in Hope BC where he lived his entire life, only leaving to serve his country in WW II.
He is survived by his life partner Eleanor Collopy, son-in-law Iver Stromquist, grandchildren: Debbie (Robert) Starrett, Cheryl (Frank) Bone, Lori (Randy) Stromquist, 5 great grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren, 2 sisters: Ruth Clark and Mabel Nichols, extended family: Barry (Elaine) Collopy, Rob (Anna Maria) Collopy, Rick (Gayle) Collopy and their families. He was predeceased by his wife Vera and daughter Juanita Stromquist.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
