MCLAREN, Kenneth Allan
July 1, 1939 – Dec. 23, 2005
Ken was born in Vernon, B.C. & lived in Hedley, B.C. for 25 years where he met & married his loving wife Gwen. They moved to Hope in 1968 where he worked in the mine. Ken later opened a partnership in the autobody business with John Walter & retired in February 2005. His passion in life was his family & sports, whether it was watching, playing or coaching. He will be greatly missed by all who’s lives he has touched.
Ken is survived by his wife; Gwen, sons;
Bruce & Dennis (Mahalia); daughter; Rhonda (Pat) Haw, grandsons; Gage, Josh & Connor, granddaughters; Emily & Madison, brothers; Tom (Myrt), John (Betty), Jerry (Venita), Bob (Sheila), sisters; Linda Livingston, Fern Golos, & Marg (Jim) Collins. Predeceased by his father William, mother Iva, brothers Bill, Rolly, Ernie & sister Eileen.
A celebration of life was held at the Legion on December 30, 2005. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
