LaVonne passed away at her residence in Hope, BC in her 94th year. She was predeceased by her parents, three siblings and loving husband of 66 years, Howard.
LaVonne is survived by children David (Ruth) of Chilliwack BC and Nancy Schultz of Hope BC. She is also survived by four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and her sister Donna (George) of Oregon.
She was born in Newman, California and was raised in central California. Howard and Lavonne moved to Hope, BC in 1971. They built their dream home on the banks of Hope's Silver Creek, where they resided until the passing of Howard in 2010.
LaVonne was lovingly devoted to her family, friends and pets. The wonderful memories we hold dear, will not fade and will forever make us smile.
There will be no formal service at her request. The family wishes to thank staff, nurses, all her friends at Riverside Manor and Dr. Rosanna Switzer.
