BLACK, Lloyd H.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lloyd Black on October 2, 2008 in Halifax NS at the age of 87 years. Lloyd was born on March 6, 1921 in Mirror Alberta and had lived in the Hope area for 61 years.

Lloyd is survived by his wife: Ida, sons: David (Helen), Ivan (Margo), Vaughn (Jessica) and Keith, eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and brother: Dave. He was predeceased by his parents: Arthur and Helena Black, brother: Clarence and sister: Mildred.

Lloyd was a machinist, mechanic and welder. He was very involved with the Hope Pentecostal Church. He loved to travel and to be with family.

A Funeral Service will be held at the Grace Baptist Church, 949 Third Ave, Hope BC, on Saturday, October 11 at 1:00 with Pastor Mike Hoffman officiating. Interment at Mountainview Cemetery.
