Rest in peace to the most loving mother, grandmother, auntie, sister, cousin and friend - Lois Ryder.
At the age of 81, a long-time resident of Hope, BC Lois dedicated her life to her undeniable loving family, life-long friends and the Royal Canadian Legion. Lois passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 16, 2021 at Riverside Manor in Hope.
She will be forever missed by her son Dwayne, who got to spend a beautiful 51 years with her that will never be forgotten and by her daughter-in-law Veronica and their children Edward, Thereesa, Angela and Sammy. Also, by her daughter Shannon and her children Cody, Allen and Melissa. Lois is also survived by her sister Verda, her brother Vincent, sister Alice and nieces Nicole and Lisa.

It's not a burden that you are gone, it was just so sudden. It has been such a precious honour that we got to share our lives with you. You taught so many of us life skills and shared so many stories. But the memories we made with you will be everlasting.
You will never be gone; you connect all of us in so many different ways. So, thank you for all the love you've shown us. It is sad to have you leave so soon, but we know in our hearts and running through our veins is your love and kindness that will always be a legacy for the generations of Ryder's to come.
We love you forever and always. Until we meet again.
