In Memory ~
Ms. Lore Epp, 78, of Hope, BC died on Friday, July 8, 2022 at Fraser Canyon Hospital in Hope after a long battle with ALS and complications due to COVID.

Born in Germany, Lore's family emigrated to Canada following the Second World War, settling in southern Alberta. It was there that she would begin her career as a nurse. Eventually going back to school at Douglas College in BC she would achieve her RN and go on to work in the US and Saudi Arabia before settling back in BC.

Whether she was caring for people or animals, Lore will always be remembered as the true definition of a nurse - someone who selflessly gave her time and effort to provide comfort and support.

Lore is survived by her son Sheldon (Danie) of Whitby, Ontario; her sisters Irma, Alide and Hildegard; and two grandchildren, Jacob and Zachary.

A private ceremony was held locally in Hope, BC with friends and family in July 2022. If you wish to make a donation in Lore's name, she would be most happy for help to be given to those that cannot help themselves via the BC SPCA.
