CLARK, Margaret Frances

June 5, 1932 to

September 12, 2009

Fran passed away peacefully in Fort Nelson where she had resided for the last few years.

She married Harry Fife after graduating as a psychiatric nurse and they had 4 children, Derrick (Louise), Geordie (Coral), Ian (Roxanne) and Dallayce. She nursed in Vancouver General, Woodlands, Como Lake Lodge, Dogwood Lodge and administered at Canada Way. In 1978 Fran moved to Boston Bar, B.C. and married John Clark , and gained 6 more children, Jan, Steve (Sandy), Colleen (John) Graham, Annette (Mitch) and Shaun.

In the beginning Fran worked as first aid attendant in the mill and on the local ambulance. She was a fabulous cook and with such a large family every meal was like running a restaurant, so that is what she did. The Tunnels, Hells Gate, The Charles Hotel, Fraser Acres, and finally the Green Canyon. Fran's passion though was hockey and as she always said, she has been watching the Canucks before they were even called that. Fran was also wonderful with children and that was a good thing as she had 25 grandchildren and 16 great grandkids. And every single one of them were important and special. Fran was a very graceful and classy lady. She has left a large void in alot of lives, but now is reunited with her family that she loved and lost too early.

There will be a celebration of her life at the Boston Bar Community hall Saturday Oct 10, 2009 at 1 pm.

Donations may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation in her memory.
