January 3, 1939 - March 8, 2025
Marg Amyott (Margaret Heather Amyott), of Hope, BC, passed away at the Langley Hospital, on March 8th, 2025 at the age of 86 (her husband Don passed in May of 2023). Marg will be dearly missed, and the world is left a better place after having Marg in it. She was born in 1939 in Lloydminster, Alberta. Marg was the "Big Sister" to her 4 sisters - Jeannie, Linda, Dawnie (all from Alberta), and Irene (already passed).
Marg married Donald Christian Amyott in Fort St. John BC on May 31, 1960. Soon after that, they moved to Fort Nelson and bought their first home. Their 3 sons were born in Fort Nelson BC.
Marg leaves behind her three sons Joe (& Cathy), Terry (& Barb) and Monte (& Georgia), her grandchildren - Travis, Fraser, Tara (& Jeff), and Tyler ( & Jessica) and her Great Grandchildren - Nate, Easton, Aubrey, Bronwyn, and Ella.
Soon after Don passed Marg moved from Chilliwack to Sunridge Gardens in Langley. Special thanks to the Sunridge staff and the many friends Marg made in the year and a half she spent there. Also, we would like to thank the Langley Hospital staff for the amazing care they gave to Marg during her time at the hospital.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 pm on Saturday April 26th, 2025 - at the Northwest Harvest Church, 888 3rd Avenue in Hope BC. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, or a charity of your choice.
