GILL, Mary Elizabeth
Mary Elizabeth Gill passed away on May 7, 2010 in Hope, BC at the age of 90 years. She was predeceased by her
husband, Robert Leslie Gill and her daughter, Verna Stromquist.
Mary is survived by her loving family: daughter, Marguerite Ann Brown; 5 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren.
Mary loved her family deeply and always enjoyed working with Les. Some of the other interests Mary enjoyed were Bingo, knitting, cooking and gardening.
A Viewing will be held on Friday, May 21, 2010 from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. at Mountainside Funeral Home, 1270 Ryder Street, Hope, BC.
A Traditional Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2010 @ 1:00 p.m. at the Christ Church Anglican, 681 Fraser Avenue, Hope, BC with Reverend Gail Newell officiating. The Burial will take place following the Service at the Mountainview Cemetery on Kawkawa Lake Road, Hope, BC with a Reception to follow back at the Church hall.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of the people at the Fraser Hope Lodge for their care of our beloved Mary.
