January 6, 1943 - October 29, 2021
With love and fond memories, Paul and the family said their goodbyes on Oct 29th. Paul will always be remembered for his humour, wisdom and his many skills.
Paul grew up in Armstrong, met Joyce and knew from the moment he met her that she would be his bride. They raised their family in Vavenby where Paul worked in the forest industry. There wasn't a machine he couldn't run or fix and he was able to step into any role that needed filling. A jack of trades and a master of many.
Paul and Joyce eventually moved to Hope where they built their dream home on a beautiful piece of property that they purchased years ago. Paul worked in the area where he eventually retired.
Paul leaves behind Joyce, the love of his life, of 54 years, daughter DeAnne (Howard), son Cooper (Darlene), grandchildren Lea, Rebecca (Johnny), Haley (Jason), Brett, Courtenay (Jordan), great-grandchildren Savannah and Zoey, sister-in-law Gertie, brother-in-law's Ed, Roy (Yvonne), as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Paul was preceded by his parents (Gaston and Gabrielle), sisters Jeanne, Anna (Merle), Louise (Allen) and Lena (Owen). They have been reunited to be together again.
We will always remember your stories, laughter, humour, work ethic, love, voice of reason and always being there to lend a helping hand. It was too soon to say goodbye but we know that you are at peace and we will see you again.
Paul and Joyce wish to have a memorial together so there will be no service at this time.
