John Peter Kester passed away Sept. 12, 2005 in Chilliwack General Hospital at the age of 81, after a short battle with leukemia. He was predeceased by his loving wife Neta in 1999, and is survived by his daughters; Joanne Jamieson, Karen (Robert) Zielinski, son; Larry (Kim)Kester, 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and also his partner Janet Fontaine. In keeping with his wishes, the family will say goodbye in a private service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated.
