Rhonda had health issues for 22 years. She loved sports: baseball, floor hockey, volleyball and walleyball. Tennis was her favorite on TV. She was a great pool player. She won many games. Her delicious foods to cook were Sheppard's pie, BBQs and shish k bobs. She was a fish monitor and fished with family. She had a huge family and lots of friends. She was loving and popular. She has been sick since last fall. Her final breath was 10 am May 20, 2024.
I want to thank the person who gave her 2 lungs. The surgery was almost 4 years ago.
Osiyam to the Doctors who performed the surgery at Vancouver General Hospital. Osiyam to the nurses and staff who cared for her while recovering. She came home about 6 months later. There were good and not so good days. She was a strong fighter.
She traveled to Disneyland with her family. This was a momentous time. She traveled to Las Vegas for her last birthday. She loved to gamble. She was accompanied by Mom and Sis.We also traveled to Seattle for baseball. Her favorite trip was to Canucks game. She watched 2 games. Happiness was written all over her face. They won too. Her final trip was to Honolulu, Hawaii. She enjoyed all time spent with Family. Great memories with mega photos. She was active culturally. She was given a Stolo Name. Tesitselwet. She enjoyed going to the casino and bingo. She did so much in her lifetime. Going to movies and holidays were important. Family time.
I want to express my thanks and gratitude to Vancouver General Hospital Doctors, Nurses and all staff for their awesome support while Rhonda was admitted there. I also want to say thanks to Nardia Brown for her love and support. She supported us with accommodation, gas, meals and parking.
I want to say thank you to Fraser Canyon Hospital for their assistance whenever Rhonda was admitted. Rhonda chose to stay at FCH when admitted last time. She was in Palliative care. Her final days were pain free.
Osiyam to family and friends who visited Rhonda and supported family when she passed. There were many family and friends who prayed for Rhonda. Prayers are powerful. Love was shown by everyone who knew Rhonda. This will never be forgotten. Osiyam for love and support by family and friends near and far. Your generous donations are supporting the funeral and headstone. Rhonda loved music. She listened when drummers and singers were visiting. This made her Spirit strong.
RIP Rhonda
The song Help Me Rhonda will always remind me of my beautiful Daughter Rhonda.
