1941-2021 ~ It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Kaji on May 26, 2021 at the age of 79.
Robert was born in September 1941 and is predeceased by his dad Tokuzo, and mom Toshiye, and his sisters Dolly Jordan, MaryAnn Uyede and Edna Mukuyama and his brother Daniel Kaji.
He is fondly remembered by his surviving siblings Gladys Ishikawa, Ruth Honkawa, Gordon Kaji, Steve Kaji and Janet Kaji and their spouses and his many nieces and nephews.
Robert was born in Mission BC and spent most of his life in Hope. He worked in construction and retired early following an injury.
Robert loved to travel the world. He was an avid cribbage player and enjoyed challenging his friends to a game. He was a member of the Eagles in Hope.
Robert kept active and was often seen walking around Hope and he also loved to swim at Lake of the Woods. He was also an enthusiastic sports fan, catching all the games on tv.
Kaj will be sadly missed by his many friends and family. There will be no services due to COVID.
