FREEMAN, Roger Clarence “Bud”

August 4, 1935 – September 6, 2007

It is with heavy hearts that we say good-bye to Bud who, after a courageous battle with cancer, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 6, 2007 at the Fraser Canyon Hospital in Hope, B.C.

Bud was born in Midville Branch, Lunenburg Co., Nova Scotia on August 4, 1935.

Bud will be remembered for his hunting and fishing ventures, and being a loyal fan to the Toronto Blue Jays.

He will be greatly missed and always remembered. Special thanks to Dr. Christie, the staff at Fraser Canyon Hospital, Nancy and Mel Simmons, and Alex Groves.

A Traditional Service will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Northwest Harvest Church, 888 3rd Avenue, Hope, B.C. Bud will be laid to rest at the Royal Canadian Legion Cemetery, Hope, B.C. following the Service.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Bud’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
