Russell Wayne Hislop

March 5, 1971 - January 20, 2020
It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that the family of Russell Wayne Hislop announces his sudden passing. Russell will be fondly remembered by his family and friends for his humor, contagious smile, his artistic woodworking craftsmanship, love of animals and the beauty of nature. He spent many hours mountain biking and building trails.
Russell is survived by his spouse Kathy Gilbert, his mother Pearl Hislop, his brother Lorne Hislop (Jo-Anne), his nephew Kody Hislop (Layne and baby Maci), numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, mother-in-law Barb Gilbert and long time family friend Pat.
He was predeceased by his father Ronald Barry Hislop (2011), his grandparents and precious dog Sugar.
A Celebration of Life will be held on February 22, 2020 in the Royal Canadian Legion Hall, 344 Fort St. Hope BC at 3 pm.
